These friendly matches are organized by our HCES Chess Parents. The event is co‐hosted by the Hunter Chess Team and other chess programs.
In general, the goal of the Friendly Friday Chess event is to provide students the opportunity to play in a less competitive/more casual environment and for both kids and parents to mingle and to get to know each other from different schools. This is not a tournament so there will be no ratings impact nor any distribution of trophies and awards. Students will though be grouped by playing level and paired accordingly. Prior events have received rave reviews and it should be a fun and exciting evening.
Our next Friendly Friday chess match for the 2016‐2017 school year will be co‐hosted by Anderson School on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8pm at Hunter’s Cafeteria
